Perhaps your dad would prefer something a little more memorable than a woolly jumper this year? In an age where people are looking for the ultimate gift, more and more are turning away from the traditional Christmas kitsch, and instead giving the gift of memories to friends and families rather than just material possessions.

Gift experiences can cover a vast range of activities, which means that there is a suitable experience for everyone, from toddlers to teenagers, young guys to grannies, mothers and babies; there are even gift experiments tailored especially for couples or for the entire family.

If you’re buying for a adrenaline-seeker you have plenty of choice as there are now hundreds of experiences which are bound to suit even the most hardened action man; paintball, white water rafting, a day’s go-karting or bob-sleighing; even a microlight flight. The price of gift experiences can cost as little as £25, but can go up to several thousands of pounds for the most unusual and extravagant events.

Basic activities such as paintball are a great value option, but if you’re really looking to impress, a complete package can be built that encompass some very special experiences. How about a helicopter tour over London, or hiring a Harley Davidson motorbike for the day? Perhaps you’d prefer to drive a Ferrari or an Apache Off-Road Racer, or take to the sky in a Champagne Balloon flight?

But Christmas gift experiences aren’t just for the boys. Ladies will enjoy spa and pampering days, p<div

And who says that the girls won’t enjoy a day on the race track too?

There can also be a potential environmental benefit to giving a gift experience rather than material possessions. With an experience there tends to be no wasted wrapping paper or unwanted packaging, and your gift won’t just ending up stuffed into the back of a cupboard, never to see the light of day again. Saying that – a fast and furious driving experience or a ride in a fighter plane is likely to come with a significant carbon footprint, but you can of course select greener experiences if you wish.

So – this Christmas, why not give a memory, (rather than a pair of socks) to your friends and family, and join the growing trend of gifting experiences.

andrew.regan.2006@googlemail.com

Author Bio
Andrew Regan is an online, freelance author from Scotland. />If you cannot afford to buy full size Schweizer 300 or a Robinson R22 or any private helicopter being sold on the market, but have a great desire to own a helicopter or have a great interest on helicopters, there is one thing that suites you best: buying, building, and collecting model helicopters.

From kids and kids at heart, collecting model helicopters has become one of the more popular hobbies. Some collect model helicopters that really fly. There are those who prefer to build model helicopters by themselves to add to their ever-growing collection.

Imagine a display of all the types of helicopters produced over the years lining side by side in one room.

If you want to start the hobby, you can start on one model and start from there. You have several options. You can either go for flying model helicopters. You can also start with a scale-model plastic helicopter. There are model helicopters that are made from wood.

If you prefer real flying model helicopters, you still have several options. You can either go for gas rc helicopter or electric rc helicopter. Usually, beginners tend to buy electric helicopter because it is much cheaper than gas rc’s. It is also easy to fly and less complicated. But if you thing you can handle the noise and if you are up for the thrill of the engined model helicopter, then gas rc is for you although it may cost you more both on maintenance and initial cost.

If you prefer building model helicopter for your personal gallery, then you have several helicopter models to choose from. Scale models such as Mi-28 HOVOC, Augusta A-109, Whirlwind, Mangusta, Huey Hog, AH-6J, Mi-24 Hind, Bell 412, SH-60B, RAH-66, 500D CHP, EC-135 Eurocopter and more are just waiting to be build by your own hands.

If you prefer military helicopters, you can get scale models such as FL 282, H-25, S-55, Rotodyne, Bo 102, H-1 Huey, Sea King, Mi-2, OH-6, Filper, H-46, Chinook, AH-56, Mi-24, Mi-26, Ka-27, XV-15, Bell 206, Puma, XCH-62, S-67, Blackhawk, Apache, Lama, S-72, Dauphin, Mi-28, Mangusta, Ka-50, Super Cobra, Tiger, NH-90, OH-1, V-22, ALH, and Comanche.

These models are also available in woodcarvings carefully handcrafted to come out as a perfect replica of the original helicopter. It can cost at around $100 to $500 depending on the type of wood used and how much detail was put to the model. Meanwhile plastic models could cost around $7 to as much as $50 while the rc model helicopters could cost at around $100 to over $1000. Helicopters are measured in terms of passenger capacity, comfort, versatility, speed, and of course cost.

Choosing the right one for you depends on these criteria. For example, if you want a cost effective helicopter strictly for personal use, you can take the Schweizer 300 or the Robinson R22 (helicopter for 2). It has basic comfort and few features. The exact opposite are the McDonnell-Douglas 500, Enstrom Shark, and the Agusta 109A. They are fast and more convenient to fly.

In between these 2 extremes are Eurocopter Squirrel and the Bell Jet Ranger. These are single turbine-engined helicopter that are more commonly used for filming work and charter flying. The Eurocopter Squirrel and the Bell Jet Ranger are agile, fast, and comfortable, but are constrained to fly on a fair weather. This is not the case with the Sikorsky S76 and The Eurocopter Dauphin 2 which can fly at 200mph and can accommodate up to 14 people safely and comfortably.

With these, we can narrow down your selection into 3:

Light Piston-engined Types – If you want a cheap personal helicopter that could sit for two, the Schweizer 300 or the Robinson R22 would be your choice. They can fly at the speed of 80-110 mph. With a seating capacity and small size, these helicopters are light, easy to fly, and easy to maneuver. Surprisingly, the light piston-engined helicopters use a more expensive fuel than that of the kerosene based turbine engines but they consume less fuel. However, the Schweizer 300 or the Robinson R22 is less buyable for charter and corporate use. They are more popular, however, on training and personal use.

Light turbine helicopters – McDonnell Douglas 500E, Eurocopter Squirrel and the (Agusta) Bell Jet Ranger are widely used around the world for its practicality and mid-range amenities, comfort, size, speed, versatility and price. Private owner often prefer light turbine helicopters among other types for these given reasons. The look is sporty and performance is almost perfect (if not perfect).

Twin Engined Helicopters – Stronger, safer, faster and more versatile helicopters are the likes of the Dauphin, Sikorsky S-76, Agusta 109, and Eurocopter Twin Squirrel. These are powered by 2 engines and can go places that other smaller helicopters can’t go. These are far better choice for high-end market with high price bracket.

Author Bio
For more information on RC Helicopters & other useful information, please visit <a

On March 24, 1999, NATO started operation that was aimed against Yugoslavia (Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) that was called Operation Allied Force. It resulted to be very controversial and some even called it “most serious U.S. foreign policy blunder since Vietnam”. Clinton tried to explain to the public that the campaign was launched to prevent a “an even crueler and costlier and wider war in Europe” (so-called domino effect) and damage Serbian’s military forces in order to stop harming Kosovo’s people. Although, throughout the operation there were quite a few amendments to the initial set of aims and objectives that were set by Clinton’s administration that shows poor initial planning.

In fact, NATO operation in Kosovo had controversial mixed results. From the beginning of the Operation Allied Force, the amount of refugees from Kosovo greatly increased and the Serbian offence intensified significantly, which made NATO to nearly double its forces. This clearly shows that the Administration did not expect Milosevic not to surrender in the first place. That is when the Administration issued the quite a few amendments to the general policies and war aims. On May 6, 1999, in Bonn, Germany the countries of G-8 developed a new plan to solve the situation. As the result, Slobodan Milosevic was recognized as negotiating party and Kosovo was to be kept in Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. A document signed by G-8 in Germany was just another try to define and clarify always-changing objectives. Another problem was that there were actu

ally a lot more objectives hidden behind just simply prevent the further war and stop the violence against the Kosovars.

Let us attempt to examine the key aims and objectives and the degree to which they were fulfilled if any. To a certain degree number one objective was to stop violence in Kosovo. Clinton said that he would do everything possible to weaken Milosevic’s ability to massacre people in Kosovo. Jamie Shea who was a NATO spokesperson at that time clearly stated at the press conference on March 29 in Belgium that the main objectives were to stop the violence in Kosovo and prevent humanitarian catastrophes. Although, Yugoslav forces continued to murder in Kosovo. According to NATO reports at least 4,600 were killed and more than 750,000 became refugees. It appears quite unclear what the Administration has done to prevent that.

Another key objective was to damage Milosevic’s military capacity, which was basically a core of the trouble in the region. If Milosevic had no military there would be no conflict since he would not have any offensive power against the Kosovars and defensive against NATO. Secretary of Defense William Cohen said “We must deter Slobodan Milosevic from carrying out his campaign of ethnic cleansing, and failing that, to make him pay a serious substantial price for doing so and to take his military down as best we can through the air power”. In fact, the air campaign was quite successful in destroying tanks and aircrafts. Around quarter of Serbia’s tanks and over 80 aircrafts were destroyed, although the important and tricky part here was that Serb forces fought the war against Kosovo Albanians on the ground. That what was needed to be destroyed, the Serb ground forces. There were quite a few controversies regarding sending the troops to fight the ground war. President Bill Clinton mentioned that he had intentions to send the troops. Although, National Security Adviser Samuel Berger said that there was no plan for ground forces and that it would not be wise to send the troops. Madeleine Albright in her turn also said that the President did not mean that we intend to send the troops to fight on the ground.

Returning to the objectives of the war, I must mention that Administration set a goal not to allow the spread of the war in the Balkans, which could easily spread to more European countries. In his address to nation, Clinton said, “We act to prevent a wider war; to defuse a powder keg at the heart of Europe”. However, the war in Kosovo has already stretched. The NATO stroke in Kosovo even increased the possibility of war growing bigger and wider. Serbian military started ethnic executions in Montenegro and Croatia. They have also started to attack north of Albania. Another alarm was that Bulgaria was looking for protection if needed or at least some security guarantees from North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

NATO’s Supreme Commander during the operation General Wesley Clark in his book Waging Modern War points out quite a few problems that NATO might face if the organization will have fair fights in the future. A lot of the issues were basic of any typical war. However, the majority of the problems were concerning the NATO approach. Firstly, Clark faults NATO for fighting a war and being too diplomatic to call it a war. He also sees a problem in conflict of different ideas from the Administration in which way to use the NATO forces. He also criticizes the NATO’s legal advisers for their choices of tactics. Clark uses a quote from Karl von Clausewitz, which means that people should not start wars unless they have plans how to finish them. This way he condemns the Administration in being very poor in planning everything from A to Z. Clark described the initial part of the air campaign as initially restrained. The Allied Forces left too many targets that could and should have been damaged. He mentioned that it would have not been too difficult to squeeze Serbia if NATO really wanted to do so. NATO sort of did not intend for a real war and that is why was diplomatic not too call everything real names. The Administration’s expectations were that Milosevic would surrender from only a threat of bombing, thus there was no real exit or clear continue strategy. Most of the Allied members showed unwillingness to use significant force against Milosevic, this fact of course gave politicians a from both sides of the Atlantic a good opportunity to speculate over the effectiveness of the use of significant force (meaning ground forces) against Serbia. Then President Clinton made himself clear and announced that he did not intend to use the ground forces, NATO’s Javier Solana undermined the coercive potential of the air campaign by suggesting that it would last “days, not months.” Given this one-two punch against NATO’s own strategy, it is little wonder that Milosevic thought he could outwait the bombing.

Clark has also experienced a problem of two sides (American and European) pulling in a bit different ways with their objectives, which of course limited his actions as a Supreme Commander of Allied Forces. General also so to say lack of support from his American military colleagues. U.S. Secretary of Defence Bill Cohen refused to accept Clark’s efforts to use Apache helicopters for air operations, as well as Clark’s efforts to use the ground forces. Cohen also contradicted Clark in ever-going consultations with the allied countries. Clark mentions in the book that he felt himself just like a regular NATO officer that also had to report to the U.S. Administration. General also felt like his military colleagues resisted the obligation to win. To his disappointment, they also resisted to put the greatest effort in the Balkans for fear of deteriorating the readiness of military for Iraq or Korea: “The Chiefs were seriously considering withholding forces to be ready for two … hypothetical major theaters of war elsewhere, even if it caused the United States and NATO to lose the actual war in Europe.”

Clark was also very critical of his own military force, the Army. Half a year before the operation Clark warned General Dennis Reimer who was the Army chief of staff at the time that the Army should be ready for the real ground war with Yugoslavia, however the reply he received was absolutely negative. Gen. Reimer said that he does not want to fight there. Clark found it very difficult to be on the cross-road of allied sides and not to have any support from home. According to his book, he issued a secret order that NATO’s key condition was to avoid any loss of a single aircraft. This concern significantly limited the effectiveness of the air campaign. Since the planes bombed from the high altitude in order to be on the safe side, it greatly increased the possibility of the civilian casualties. Although, the General was not going to change his mind regarding this issue. Clark once again points out the role that debates between the allied sides played in the operation. The European allies believed that the majority of airstrikes should be targeted at Serb’s forces in Kosovo, while the American side wanted to target the bombs at Belgrade. Besides, one of the French officers gave the early version of the war plan to the Milosevic administration. The main part of debates though, were among General Clark and Pentagon about some targets that general viewed as the most essential to be destroyed, like fuel storages and power plants that would paralyze Milosevic forces. However, Pentagon wanted to save those targets in case American peacekeepers would be attacked by Serbs later on after the airstrikes.

The Clinton’s Administration started the operation against Milosevic with a great number of confusing and difficult to achieve objectives, especially when restricting the military actions only to air war. That is why most of the objectives were revised throughout the Kosovo campaign. Some of them though, after being revised, were achieved to some extend, however the progress was very slow. I would have agree with General Clark regarding the lack of preparation for this war.

More investors are now inquiring about Coalbed Methane exploration companies. Just as uranium miners were flying well below the radar screen in early 2004, coalbed methane exploration may very well be the next very hot sector later this year and next. Historically, coalbed methane gas endangered coal miners, resulting in alarming fatalities early in the previous century. This is the fate suffered today by many Chinese coal miners in the smaller, private coal mines. Typically, the methane gas trapped in coal seams was flared out, before underground mining began, in order to prevent those explosions. Rising natural gas prices have long since ended that practice.

Today, coalbed methane companies are turning a centuries-long nuisance and byproduct into a valuable resource. About 9 percent of total US natural gas production comes from the natural gas found in coal seams. Because natural gas prices have soared, along with the bull markets found in uranium, oil, and precious and base metals, coalbed methane has come into play. It is after all a natural gas. But because it is outside the realm of the petroleum industry, coalbed methane, or CBM as many industry insiders call it, is called the unconventional gas. It may be unconventional today, but as the industry continue to grow by leaps and bounds, on a global scale, CBM may soon achieve some respect. Please remember that a few years ago, there was very little cheerleading about nuclear energy. Today, positive news items are running far better than ten to one in favor of that power source.

CBM is the

natural gas contained in coal. It consists primarily of methane, the gas we use for home heating, gas-fired electrical generation, and industrial fuel. The energy source within natural gas is methane (chemically, it is CH4), whether it comes from the oil industry or from coal beds.

CBM has several strong points in its favor. The gases produced from CBM fields are often nearly 90 percent methane. Which type of gas has more impurities? No, it isn?t the natural, or conventional, gas you thought it might be. Frequently, CBM gas has fewer impurities than the ?natural gas? produced from conventional wells. CBM exploration is done at a more shallow level, between 250 and 1000 meters, than conventional gas wells, which sometimes are drilled below 5,000 meters. CBM wells can last a long time ? some could produce for 40 years or longer.

Natural gas is created by the compression of underground organic matter combined with the earth?s high temperatures thousands of meters below surface. Conventional gas fills the spaces between the porous reservoir rocks. The coalification process is similar but the result is different: both the coalbed and the methane gas are trapped in the coal seams. Instead of filling the tiny spaces between the rocks, the coal gas is within the coal seams.

One of the past problems associated with CBM exploration was the reliance upon expensive horizontal drilling techniques to extract the methane gas from the coal seams. Advanced fracturing techniques and breakthrough horizontal drilling techniques have increased CBM success ratios. As a result, a growing number of exploration companies are pursuing the early bull market in CBM. Market capitalizations for many of these companies mirror similar ?early plays? we mentioned during our mid 2004 uranium coverage (June through October, 2004). Industry experts told us there would be a uranium bull market. Now, we are hearing the same forecasts about CBM.

SEVEN TIPS BY DR. DAVID MARCHIONI

We asked Dr. David Marchioni to provide our subscribers with his 7 Tips to help investors better understand what to look for, before investing in a CBM play. Dr. Marchioni helped co-author the CBM textbook, An Assessment of Coalbed Methane Exploration Projects in Canada, published by the Geological Survey of Canada. He is also president of Petro-Logic Services in Calgary, whose clients have included the Canadian divisions of Apache, BP, BHP, Burlington, Devon, El Paso Energy, and Phillips Petroleum, among others. He is also a director of Pacific Asia China Energy and is overseeing the company?s CBM exploration program in China.

Our series of telephone and email interviews began while Dr. Marchioni sat on a drill rig in Alberta?s foothills, the Manville region, until he finished outlining his top 7 tips, or advices, on how to think like a CBM professional.

1) COAL SEAM THICKNESS

Is there a reasonable thickness of coal? You should find out how thick the coal seams are. With thickness, you get the regional extent of the resource. For example, there must be a minimum thickness into which one can drill a horizontal well.

2) GAS CONTENT

Typically, gas content is expressed as cubic feet of gas per ton of coal. Find how thick it is and how far it is spread. Then, you have a measure of unit gas content. Between coal seam thickness and gas content, you can determine the size of the resource. You have to look at both thickness and gas content. It?s of no use to have high gas content if you don?t have very much coal. The industry looks at resource per unit area. In other words, how much gas is in place per acre, hectare, or square mile? In the early stage of the CBM exploration, this really all you have to work with in evaluating its potential.

3) MATURITY LEVEL OF THE COAL

This is the measure of the stage the coal has reached between the mineral?s inception as peat. Peat matures to become lignite. Later, it develops into bituminous coal, then semi-anthracite and finally anthracite.

There is a progressive maturation of coal as a geological time continuum and the earth?s temperature, depending upon depth. By measuring certain parameters, you can determine where it is in the chemical process. For instance, the chemistry of lignite is different from that of anthracite. This phrasing is called ?coal rank? in coal industry terminology.

4) PERMEABILITY

When you are beginning to think about CBM production, this and the next item must be evaluated. How permeable is the CBM property? You want permeability, otherwise the gas can?t flow. If the coal isn?t permeable at all, you can never generate gas. The gas has to be able to flow. If it is extremely permeable, then you can perhaps never pump enough water. The water just keeps getting replaced from the large area surrounding the well bore. The water will just keep coming, and you will never lower the pressure so the gas can be released.

5) WATER

In a very high proportion of CBM plays, the coal contains quite a lot of water. You have to pump the water off in order to reduce the pressure in the coal bed. Gas is held in coal by pressure. The deeper you go, typically the more gas you get, because the pressure is higher. The way to induce the gas to start flowing is to pump the water out of the coal and lower the ?water head? of pressure. How much water are we going to produce? Are we going to have to dispose of it? If it?s fresh, then there may be problems with regulatory agencies. In Alberta, the government has restrictions on extracting fresh water because others might want to use it. One could be tapping into a zone that people use as water wells for farms and rural communities. Both water quality and water volume matter. For example, Manville water is very salient so nobody wants to put it into a river; this water is pushed back down into existing oil and gas wells in permeable zones (but which are also not connected to the coal).

6) FUNDING

To be able to access land and do some initial drilling, i.e. the first round of financing, it would cost a minimum of C$4 million. This would include some geological work and drilling at least five or six wells. In Horseshoe, that would cost around C$4 million (say 1st round of finance); in Manville, about C$9 million. This is under the assumption that the company doesn?t buy the land. The land in western Canada is very expensive and tightly held. Much of the work is done as a ?farm in? drilling on land held by another for a percentage of the play. (Editor?s note: During a previous interview, Dr. Marchioni commented about his preference for Pacific Asia China Energy?s land position in China because comparable land in western Canada would have cost ?$100 million or more.?

7) INFRASTRUCTURE

The geology only tells you what?s there, and what the chances of success are. You then have to pursue it. Can we sell it? Gas prices are ?local,? meaning they vary from country to country, depending whether it is locally produced and in what abundance (or lack thereof). How much can we extract? How much is it going to cost us to get it out of the ground? Are there readily available services for this property? Will you have to helicopter a rig onto the property at some incredible price just to drill it? Will you have to build a pipeline to transport the gas? Or, in China as an example, are there established convoys for trucking LNG across hundreds of kilometers?

One addition, which we have mentioned in previous articles, and especially in the Market Outlook Journal, ?Quality of Management Attracts PR,? it is important that the CBM company have experienced management. This would mean a management team that includes those who have gotten results, not only a veteran exploration geologist but a team that can sell the story and bring in the mandatory financing to move the project into production.

There are two primary reasons why many of these coalbed methane plays are being taken seriously. First, the macroeconomic reason is that rising energy costs have driven companies in the energy fields to pursue any economic projects to help fill the energy gap. Coalbed methane has a more than two decades of proof in the United States. The excitement has spread to Canada, China and India, where CBM exploration is beginning to take off. Second, the fundamental reason is that exploration work has already been done in delineating coal deposits. There are, perhaps, 800 coal basins globally, with less than 50 CBM producing basins. In other words, there is the potential for growth in this sector.

James E. Finch

Author Bio
James Finch contributes to StockInterview.com and other publications. But still, a pilot is one of the top answers of ambitions of these little tots. After all, who would not want to dream of being able to fly an airplane and heading and soaring in the clouds? Not everybody can do that.

And for little boys (and for some grown-ups as well), one of the things that they can do for the meantime so as to more or less live their dream is to own RC planes. After all with a remote control air plane, you get to control the gadget and make it fly wherever you may want it to go. That way, you get to imagine that you are the pilot and that you are really riding in it and you are soaring high above the clouds without having to worry about what is happening down below.

At Gadget Epoint, you could find a collection of RC planes that do not only include air planes. You also get to discover the joys of having to choose from remote control helicopters. Sure, there are little boys out there who would choose to fly a helicopter compared to flying an air plane. Some may think that helicopters are more macho and more fun.

If you do love helicopters, you may opt to get the Apache Feralbeast RC helicopter. This gadget is actually a miniature of a real life helicopter that is used in combat. It features military and civilian aircraft and brings together manufacturers, customers and the public.

There are five exhibit halls and an outdoors static display, with daily demonstration flights. The last two days are open to the general public. In 2004 there were more than 1,300 exhibitors that were seen by 150,000 visitors. The airshow also attracts protests against the arms trade.

History

The Farnborough Airshow traces its origins to the annual RAF Airshow at Hendon between 1920 and 1937. In 1916 the Society of British Aerospace Companies or SBAC was formed. This organization went to the Hendon show to showcase the British aviation industry.

Sixteen companies presented thirty-five aircraft that first year. After a pause for WWII, the show resumed in 1946 at Radlett. The show moved to Farnborough in 1948, which is also where BAE Systems, Britain’s premier aviation company is located. In 1962 it changed from a yearly event to biennial.

Over the years it has grown into an international event and the world’s largest aerospace trade show and is held every even numbered year, alternating with the Paris Airshow. The 2008 Farnborough International Airshow will also celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of fixed wing flight in the UK, a flight by Samuel Cody, which took off at Farnborough itself.

Aircraft Displays

Each day of the airshow features more than a hundred aircraft on display. There is a Media Center and conferences that occur during the program.

Eighty-three defense delegations from forty-three nations, and forty civil aerospace delegations from fifteen nations attended the 2006 Farnborough International Airshow, and future events are expected to be of similar size. The size and prestige of the show ensures that anyone in the aerospace market, selling or buying, attends to seek the best deals possible.

At the 2006 show, $42 billion in deals were announced, $5 billion military sales and $37 billion in the civilian aerospace market. 130,000 visitors attended on the open days. There is an Enthusiast’s Day, which allows Friends of Farnborough with an interest in aviation to attend on one of the days that are otherwise open only to industry figures. Looking at the descriptions, you would come to think that such are really pertaining to the beasts of nature. But being a beast does not necessarily mean that it is a negative thing. In fact, it can also mean turning the tables so much so that you are the one in control and you are the one in power. So if you are in a war and you have a beastly weapon, then you definitely are on the winning edge.

Going into a war is something that some people dream of because they love being able to control another country or another group. But they do want that ability but without having to actually kill anybody. As long as you do get the final aim, then it is okay. However, getting such an aim is not possible if it is going to be a real war. If it is going to be make believe, then it is highly possible that everyone continues to live even if the stronger and the better one is declared the winner.

You may have such a war game with a friend and you are preparing your troops and your machines. Now if you really want to win, you have to make sure that you have the best on your side or else. And if that is the thing that you are pondering on right now, you have to get the best beast and that could come in the form of the Apache Feralbeast RC helicopter. Now this is the most advanced in its class and is totally versatile. It is also<div

This does not happen a lot with RC planes so that makes the Apache Feralbeast RC helicopter pretty special. It has also been made to be a total replica of the AH-64 Apache which is the United States Army’s main helicopter for attacks. />The world of online games is vast world, with games to suit nearly every taste. Everyone from a scholar to a wannabe fighter pilot can find a game that suits their tastes. In this article, I’ll give super short reviews of a few free online games.

Jezzball

Jezzball is available on several websites in Java. In Jezzball, you have a square box with balls bouncing around in it. You must corner the balls without them hitting and breaking your partially formed walls. It is a very simple game, but it can be addicting.

Bomber Bob

This is a very simple war game. You are a fighter aitplane, and you must shoot down scores of enemy planes before they sink your ship, and without being shot down yourself. This game is a flash game.

Literati

This is Yahoo’s free version of Scrabble. It is scored slightly differently, but overall, it is nearly identical. Literati is Java based and requires a free Yahoo ID.

Diesel and Death

This is another flash game. This one is a dirt bike racing game. Very simple, but entertaining. You race against a computer controlled bike.

Helicopter Game

In this simple yet very challenging game, you must use one button on your mouse to navigate your helicopter through the cave without crashing it. The cave is complete with obstacles, drops and climbs. Wow. This game could be very addictive! Game is built with flash.

Curve Ball

This is an adapted ping pong ball game. You are in a square tunnel with a computer controlled opponent at the other end. The key is to get the ball to bounce or curve, and get past your opponent.

Overkill Apache

Similar to Bomber Bob, but this time you’re flying an Apache helicopter over the desert. Your enemies come from all directions, too! Some good simple fun, though the game needs more controls.

Gabriel Adams -

Author Bio
<a
