You can get malware of differing types on your PC without you even knowing, they can get past your antivirus, sometimes by you just clicking on an ad or entering a website. Once malware is on your PC it can start to cause untold problems from slowing down programs to totally wiping your files and posing security risks when you are online. Recently I had a problem with something that was called WinFixer which was claiming to be a valid Windows XP registry cleaner. It is in fact a type of malware that is one of the worst around!
I was worried that it would corrupt my PC and leave it inaccessible so I knew that I had to do something and fast. I called my friend who is into computers for advice and he said the best thing to do was to get a registry cleaner that would get rid of this malware and other types. He told me to download XoftSpySE which I did and let it run a clean. It found the malware I had found and a couple more besides and removed them from my registry in no time. Now my PC is up and running again and I regularly use the Windows XP registry cleaner that was recommended to me.
